About this episode

While building what would become one of the biggest private company transactions in Australian history, Radek Sali found his purpose: to bring light to the world.

That common thread has united his business endeavours from 10 years in the cinema industry, to operating at the helm of Swisse Wellness Group as their CEO, to Founder and Executive Chairman of Light Warrior - an investment group committed to investing in businesses that are socially responsible and environmentally conscious.

With deep professional experience in the service industry, Radek embraced a Conscious Business Philosophy of “treating everyone equal” when he moved over to products, whether it was a customer, supplier, or distributor.

This allowed him to grow Swisse to one of the biggest wellness brands in Australia by pioneering the use of brand ambassadors and winning ‘the best place to work in Australia’ in 2015 and 2016. After a prolonged discussion around exiting, he negotiated a $1.7B acquisition with a Hong Kong-based company.

Radek speaks as much about the how’s and why’s of growing and selling as he does about the personal journey of fulfilment he finds in being an entrepreneur.
